MS is a disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. This disruption can cause variable and unpredictable symptoms like numbness, tingling, spasticity, pain, cognitive problems, blindness, or paralysis. There is no cure, but new treatment options are in development.
Stephanie is Captain of Team Happy Feet for Walk MS, an event which is the flagship fundraiser for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This organization is a driving force of MS research and treatment to stop disease progression, restore function, and end MS forever.
Mark Hollis at the Lebanon, Indiana branch of Drainage Solutions, Inc. showed his support for Stephanie in a tangible way. He placed this donation box on the counter, and it is said that he accosted each person who entered the store and asked them to give – even if they’d done so before!
