Intended for underground and above ground cold potable water systems, the unique design of the Ranger allows it to assemble onto multiple ranges of ¾” or 1” nominal pipe diameters - from CTS up to PVC. AND it installs in half the turns of a regular fitting.
 
This wide-range fitting not only saves time, but it can be used to replace up to 99 compression connections. Here’s an example: when you’re on a job and you KNOW there’s a ¾” or 1” service line in the ground, but you DON’T know the exact type of pipe, grab the Ranger.
The Ranger is manufactured with a 301 stainless steel grip ring, a brass friction ring, and an EPDM rubber gasket. 

One example of a repair fitting stocked at Drainage Solutions is this PVC Expansion Repair Coupling. 

HOW IT WORKS: One end of the coupling is equal to the pipe’s outside diameter. That end fits into the PVC Schedule 40 fitting.  The other end goes over Iron Pipe Size PVC pipe.  This part, #118, a Socket X Spigot Coupling, is an excellent choice for lateral & riser add-ons or for damaged fitting replacement.  It can also be used as a short-stroke Expansion Joint. Available in ½” to 6” sizes.
 
There are a multitude of other repair options for Schedule 40 pipe from 1/2” to 12” sizes.  

Drainage Domes by Vice Brothers offer the light-weight construction of aluminum with the reliability found in cast iron.

The Vice Brothers Indiana plant is home to a green sand foundry that uses only natural bonded sands - guaranteeing no environmental waste. A pattern shop prepares and maintains all patterns, and all machining, finishing, and assembly of the castings is done on site.
 
Starting in 2005, many of the high volume castings began to be converted to the die cast process to allow for increased inventories and better casting finish. Today, most of the product line is die cast and the plant houses a large inventory to meet the needs of the water drainage industry.
