Using Aluminum Flood Valves by Vice Brothers

Flood Valves, also called flood gates, are designed for backwater protection of drainage systems. Vice Brothers’ cast aluminum flood valves have a minimum amount of resistance to outflowing water. 

Here’s an excerpt from what our customer had to say about this project:

“ We are using these as scuppers in our seawall, which occasionally takes a lot of water over the wall, and that water needs a place to drain out or it will flood the house.  We designed scuppers in the wall to manage the outflow, but needed gates to prevent the ocean from inflowing.  The gates are now installed, and they look great.”

We recently had the opportunity to help fill Thanksgiving food baskets for people in our community.  Servant’s Heart of Indy board member David McNichols reached out to see if we could supply instant mashed potatoes for their annual Turkey Drive Thru, an event which provided meals for 500 Indianapolis families this year.  
Our own Luke Wethington, who works at our Lebanon, IN facility, went above and beyond in the “Hunt for Mashed Potatoes.”  When he was asked to start the search to see how many packages he could acquire, he truly took the task to heart!
We encourage you to follow Luke’s example of enthusiastic giving this holiday season – and all the year through.
