I have 20 feet of NDS 5 inch plastic channel drain in front of my garage. Over the years, due to vehicle traffic, I had to replace a grate or two. I think that may not need to happen in the future!! I found this galvanized grates that fit my drain like a glove and look like they will be around for a long time to come.
