IPS 2 oz. Tube Pipe Joint Compound w/Teflon (White Seal)

Weld On White Seal Plus Pipe Thread Sealant is a multi-purpose heavy duty sealant with PTFE and zero VOC content for industrial applications and pipe lines.

APPLICATION: White Seal Plus can be used for sealing and lubricating metal and plastic piping systems carrying: air and gases (compressed, manufactured or natural), ammonia, brine, acid (diluted), caustic alkalis (diluted), corrosives, freons, fuel (diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, and kerosene), oils, petroleum, propane, solvents, steam, sugar, and water. Not recommended for oxygen, fluorine or liquid sodium systems. Contains finely homogenized TeflonŒ PTFE particles to fully pack voids and thread imperfection ensuring pressure-tight, leak-proof seal on pipe threads.

  • Non-setting formula allows easy disassembly of joints without damage to pipe, fittings or threads. Protects threaded areas from rust and corrosion and prevents galling.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  • Store between 20F and 140F (-6C and 60C). Sealant can be used as low as _50F (-45C).
  • Stir before use.
  • Ensure threads are clean (free of dirt, oil moisture, etc.) and made with good die.
  • Apply sealant freely to male threads only
  • Assemble joints. Do not over torque. System may be put in service immediately.
