Description

Weld-OnŒ 727Ž Hot ´R ColdŽ is a clear, low VOC emission, medium bodied, very fast setting, high strength PVC solvent cement for all classes and schedules of pipe and fittings with interference fit through 6 inch (160 mm) diameter, Schedule 80 through 4 inch (110 mm) diameter. Can be used without primer on non-pressure systems if local codes permit.

APPLICATION: Weld-On 727 Hot ´R Cold is specially formulated for use in a wide range of temperatures encountered during all seasons of the year. Successful, high strength joints can be made at temperatures as low as -15F (-26C) and as high as 110F (43C). It is suitable for use on rigid and flexible PVC pipe and fittings and can be used in very wet condition and/or where quick pressurization of the piping systems is desired.

Detailed directions on making solvent cemented joints are printed on the container label. An installation DVD/CD covering solvent cementing is available. It not only describes the basic principles of solvent cementing, but also covers the handling, storage and use of our products. It is highly recommended that the installer review the instructions supplied by the pipe and fitting manufacturer.

NOTE: WELD-ON solvent cements must never be used in a PVC system using or being tested by compressed air or gases; including air-over-water booster.
