Animal Guards

Nest building by wildlife can cause drainage system blockage.

We offer the following devices and more to help prevent animals from gaining pipe access:

Stainless Steel Guards Available in 4” up to 24”

Both the Stainless Steel & the Zinc Coated Animal Guards fit inside the pipe to block animal entry at the outlet. Guards up to 15” in size are bolted through the pipe using the hardware that comes with the product. 18" and larger Guards are held in place with an included steel rod that extends through the frame and then through the pipe.

Zinc Coated Animal Guards come in 4” to 60” sizes

Band Type Animal Guards

6” to 24” sizes

This Animal Guard is designed to work with PVC, CMP, and similar types of pipe. No drilling is required for the installation of the Band Type Animal Guard. The necessary hardware is included so that you can securely attach the Guard over the pipe. Not for use with corrugated plastic pipe or tubing.

QUICK DRAIN RISERS

This surface inlet’s unique design resists plugging by crop residue.

The intake has exclusive "open undercuts" that allow for additional subsurface drainage.

6” Quick Drain Riser

Riser top section is interchangeable with Hickenbottom and Precision underground sections and tees.
Available from Drainage Solutions, Inc. in 6" body size and 31 1/2" tall; open drain area of 116 sq. inches, OR 10" body size and 34" tall; open drain area of 356.14 sq. inches.
Constructed of UV-stabilized polypropylene.

6” Quick Drain Riser, Mid Adjustable

Easily adjust the height of your drainage inlet by twisting the tube.

Twist-style underground section is available in 6" size and is a two-piece section with height adjustment range of 28"–40".
Fits most 6" tees and risers, with no cutting required.
Exterior portion has 1/4" x 1" slots; interior portion has 5/16" slots.
Exclusive "open undercuts" allow for additional subsurface drainage.
Constructed of UV-stabilized polypropylene.

Quick Drain Inlet

The Quick Drain Inlet allows for maximum tile flow at minimum depths.

8” Quick Drain Inlet

Will fit most existing riser intakes and can be trimmed to fit dual-wall pipe systems.
Stocked at Drainage Solutions, Inc. in 6" diameter with 18" diameter at the top; 17" overall height, and 8" diameter with 18" diameter at the top; 17" overall height.
Includes lid with self-tapping screws.
The low profile design allows equipment to pass over easily.
Constructed of UV-stabilized polypropylene.

The INLAs’ largest impact is perhaps made by its annual Indiana Green Expo, which has been called Indiana’s largest, most comprehensive green industry event. The Expo includes 3 days of education and a 2 day trade show. Workshops and lectures are given by experts in the field & certification opportunities are offered. More than 150 exhibitors are typically on hand to feature new products, showcase innovative methods, host a fun landscape challenge, & raise money towards an industry scholarship.

This year’s event will be held virtually and will be offered in two formats: Live & Recorded. The live Portion is slated for January 19 – 22, 2021. The LIVE portion offers keynote addresses, trade show, and a networking session.

The recorded Portion will run from January 18 – February 4, 2021. The RECORDED portion provides 12 tracks that offer a number of 30-minute talks with opportunities to earn CCHs.
