Reed FPV20 Field Pipe Vise
This vise is designed for heavy duty pre-trench or field work.
It operates by tightening the chain of the smooth jaws, clamping the pipe to the stand.

It’s perfect for supporting work during cutting operations using Reed Hinged Cutters, Rotary Pipe Cutters, and the Universal Pipe Cutter.
The Reed pipe stand will hold more pipe capacity (20” / 500mm) and greater weight than others, yet weighs only 20.6 pounds (9.4 kg)

This product features a unique gasket that allows for travel in both directions. It’s as easy to slide the coupling back onto the existing pipe as it was to slide it onto the repair section.

The square faced bell design allows for an object like a bar or wood block to be placed against the fitting in order to knock the repair coupling into place. And since there are no bolts, nothing to tighten to engage the gasket, no glue required and no set time before backfilling can begin, the repair coupling is functional as soon as it is installed. The water pressure can be turned back on at once and normal operations resumed.
