Standard PolyDrain pre-engineered channels for surface drainage are manufactured from PolyDyn®, an advanced formulation of selected quartz aggregates and inert mineral fillers bonded together in a high grade polyester resin.  This formulation, which offers marked cost advantages over similar materials, is suitable for use in both exterior and interior applications.

These polymer concrete trench drains give the specifier the precision and accuracy required to satisfy hydraulic and chemical demands.  Polymer concrete is resistant to salt, oil, gas, sewage, and many alkalis.  This makes PolyDrain an exceptional choice for streetscapes, washdown and food processing applications, industrial uses, & more.

Standard PolyDrain channels have a built-in 0.6% slope with a smooth radius bottom and a 4 inch trench width.  These features provide excellent hydraulic efficiency.  Without any site slope, a 3.5 feet per second self-cleaning velocity is obtained when the channels are flowing full.

PolyDrain channels have interlocking tongue-and groove joints that serve two important functions. 
First, they aid in maintaining proper channel alignment during the pour. 
Second, they assist in securing channel connections to prevent fluid migration out of the system. 

PolyDrain channels are formed with full-length anchoring ribs on each side of the channel at the base of the side wall. These anchoring ribs provide a positive mechanical lock with surrounding concrete.

Animal Guards from Agri Drain can act as a deterrent to wildlife that may view your pipe as the perfect place to build a nest.  Plugged drainage systems are irritating and costly and these products help you be proactive in prevention!
 
Here are just a few of the options available from Drainage Solutions, Inc:

The Animal Guard fits inside the pipe to block animal entry at the outlet.  Guards up to 15” in size are bolted through the pipe using the hardware that comes with the product. 18" and 24" Stainless Steel Guards are held in place with an included steel rod which extends through the frame and then through the pipe. The rod extends approximately 1" on either side of the frame.

Installation is simple: Position far enough in the pipe (4 -6 inches in) that the device can swivel up and allow debris to pass without exposing the Guard beyond the pipe. Drill a hole in the pipe in order to pass the Guard’s bolt through the top. Attach the washer to the bolt and tighten down the nut to secure the Guard in place.

18" through 60" Zinc Coated Animal Guards are held in place with a steel rod (included) which extends through the frame and then through the pipe. The Rod extends approximately 1" on either side of the frame.

This Animal Guard is designed to work with PVC, CMP, and similar types of pipe.  No drilling is required for the installation of the Band Type Animal Guard. The necessary hardware is included so that you can securely attach the Guard over the pipe. Not for use with corrugated plastic pipe or tubing.

Available to fit 4", 6", or 8" pipe.
4" and 6" External Guards are Iowa DOT approved.
EG04 is designed for use on 4" PVC and corrugated plastic tubing.
EG06 is designed for use on 6" CMP. 
EG08 is designed for use on 8" PVC and CMP. 
EG08P is designed for use on 8" corrugated plastic tubing.  Galvanized expanded metal is 1/2" Standard #13.
